North-East Penang Island
North East Penang Island (Malay: Pulau Pinang Timur Laut) is one of the five administrative districts in the state of Penang, Malaysia. It covers an area of 121 square kilometres, and had a population of 508,181 at the 2010 Census (provisional result). The capital of Penang State, George Town, is located in this district. It is also the official district seat.
